Chennai, Apr 9: Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) general secretary, Vaiko on Wednesday, Apr 8 has warned that Tamil Nadu will face a bloodbath if any harm was done to Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) leader V Prabhakaran.

"Prabhakaran lives in the hearts of Tamils. Tamils all over the world do not want even a small hurt happening to him. If anything happens to him there will be bloodbath in Tamil Nadu," he said.

He added that the Tamil people's heart has turned into a 'volcano' and that they had long forgotten the assassination of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Recollecting the incident when Jarnail Singh threw a shoe on the Union Home minister P Chidambaram, he said that Sikhs could throw shoes 'but here we have people who can get bombs. The next generation of youth will not be like me'.

MDMK reached a seat-sharing alliance with Jayalalithaa's AIADMK in Tamil Nadu for the coming Lok Sabha polls. MDMK will contest in four seats.

Colombo: US, Italy Ambassadors injured

Colombo, Feb 27:  At least six people, including the US and Italian Ambassadors to Sri Lanka, have been wounded in suspected LTTE shelling in the Eastern Batticaloa district today, military and diplomatic sources here said. yes yes yes very true. non intervention of india has forced the tamilans support the cause of tamilans which eventually resulted in supporting prabhakaran.
