IBM, Sun inks 7yr deal worth $242 mn

Toronto, Apr 9: International Business Machines (IBM) Corp signed a seven-year deal with Sun Life Financial to manage the insurance giant's information technology operations in Canada and the United States. IBM sources said that the agreement is worth morethan $242 million.

"Our partnership is being extended further to provide new highly integrated, cost-effective and intelligent solutions to support Sun Life business goals," Saad Toma, general manager of global technology services at IBM Canada, said in a statement on Thursday, Apr 9.
