Congress ask Tytler, Sajjan Kumar to opt out

Jagdish Tytler
New Delhi, Apr 9: Finally Congress party bowed to the Sikh pressure and asked Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar to opt out from contesting in the coming Lok Sabha polls. Both are accused in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Janardhan Dwivedi, senior Congress leader said that Tytler and Kumar have opted out of the general elections keeping the party's interests in mind. Their replacements will be decided soon.

Earlier in the day, Tytler said to media that he has left the decision to Congress president Sonia to decide whether he should contest in view of the 'vicious campaign' launched by BJP and Akali Dal and the 'atmosphere' created by the media."My heart says a lot of embarrassment has been caused to the party. I don't think I should fight," said Tytler in a press conference.

Angry Sikh groups launched huge protest in Punjab and New Delhi after CBI gave clean chit to Tytler in anti-Sikh riots case causing embarrassment to Congress, which in the end decided to bow to the community's pressure.

The hindus are forgetting that it was the Sikh Gurus who gave their lives to save this community who have no respect for anybody else. They are so selfish. Sajan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler and likes of them cannot go unpunished. They should be punished properly like cut to pieces in public in front of their families and fed to the dogs.
