Mumbai, Apr 5: Senior lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani was nominated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) against Congress MP Priya Dutt in Mumbai North Central constituency in the coming Lok Sabha polls. Mahesh Jethmalani is the son of Ram Jethmalani a former BJP leader who later broke away from party.

Mahesh had earlier fought for Priya's brother Sanjay Dutt. "She's a good girl, but a very inefficient MP," said Mahesh.

"My father's views are his own. I have my own views. Despite what my father Ram Jethmalani said about Atal Behari Vajpayee, he is close to the BJP," added Mahesh.
