
Hyderabad, Apr 4: Actor-turned politician and Prajarajyam Party chief Chiranjeevi file his nomination for the Tirupati Assembly in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, Apr 4.
He was accompanied by his wife Surekha and actor-son Ram Charan Tej. Mega star also declared assets worth Rs 88 crore in his and his wife's name. The nomination papers and affidavit on assets was submitted to the Tirupati Returning Officer.
Apart from Tirupati Chiranjeevi is also contesting from Palkole in his native West Godavari district. The Prajarajyam party was launched by Chiranjeevi on Aug 26, 2008 at Tirupati.

The 53-year-old actor, who has starred in 149 films. His brother-in-law and film producer Allu Aravind, who is contesting for the Lok Sabha from Ankapalle, is worth Rs 24 crore. Apart from Tirupati Chiranjeevi is also contesting from Palkole in his native West Godavari district. The Prajarajyam party was launched by Chiranjeevi on Aug 26, 2008 at Tirupati.
