New Delhi, Apr 2: Samajwadi Party leader Sanjay Dutt alleged that his father Sunil Dutt died because of Congress. My father was hurt with the induction of former Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam into the party against his wishes, Dutt said on Wednesday, Apr 1.
“My father died because of Congress...they (Congress) did not listen to him, such a senior leader... and took Sanjay Nirupam in Congress, the man who accused him, the man who abused him when he (Nirupam) was in Shiv Sena. He died because of that," Dutt told a news channel.
Sanjay Dutt also said that his Dad had spoken about this to him just four days before his death.
“He spoke to me four days before he died. The only hurt he was having was this. He told me they (Congress) have killed him," Dutt said.Hence I don't believe in Congress policies, Sanjay Dutt blamed.
When asked about his sister Priya Dutt's association with Congress, he said, “To be with the party, which killed her father..that is her choice."
