RSS amenable to one and all, says Mohan Bhagwat

New Delhi, Apr 1 (ANI): The new Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief, Mohan Bhagwat, has said there was no opposition to the group within the country.

Speaking here on Tuesday, Bhagwat said that nobody really opposed the RSS and if they did, it was just because of their own selfish motives.

"There are few people who oppose us due to their selfish interests, but we understand their selfish nature and therefore feel pity on them. Then there are few who pinpoint our drawbacks driven by their own motives, but we understand their intentions as well and will behave in a better manner with them so that their motives are defeated," said Bhagwat.

The RSS provides ideological base for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). (ANI)

Mayawati like former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the 80s had subtly advanced a 'soft Hindutva' line appealing to the so called 'Manuwadis' while telling her own Bahujan Samaj that their interest rested.....

BJP constitutes panels on economy and South Asia

New Delhi, July 20: The BJP today constituted committees on Economic Affairs and South Asian Affairs to be headed by former Union ministers Murli Manohar Joshi and Yashwant Sinha respectively. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of BJP General Secretaries, BJP President Rajnath Singh told newspersons. The committees will advise the party on issues relating to them. Mr Arun Shourie, another former union minister, has been appointed.....
