Bangalore, Mar 27: N R Narayana Murthy (NRN), the chief mentor of Infosys Technologies said that he is not interested in contesting in the general elections. "I am 62, I am too old to contest an election. But I will definitely go to vote," said NRN to mediapersons.

"We are still a very young democracy and things will change as we move forward," he added. When asked about the global slump, Infosys mentor said that it was a 'blackout period' for his company. He also commented about inflation. Narayana Murthy said the current trends of low inflation was a good sign to the economy as people have more money to spend.

Bangalore, Aug 14: Karnataka High Court today quashed case against Infosys Chief Mentor Narayanamurthy of 'dishonouring National Anthem'. Justice K Bhakthavatsala, allowing a criminal petition by Mr Narayanamurthy seeking quashing proceedings initiated against him before the Second Additional Chief Metropolitan Court, Bangalore, which took cognance of a complaint filed by Kannada Rakshana Vakilara Vedike, quashed the case stating that he (Mr Narayanamurthy) has not committed any violation of the act and nowhere playing National Anthem through instrument was offensive......
