New Delhi, Mar 27: Taking the election rivalry to a new level Bharatiya Janata Party leader LK Advani challenged Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh to a live TV debate similar to the pattern followed in United States during elections

Advani throwed the new challenge to PM at a poll rally and once again labelled Manmohan Singh as the 'weakest Prime Minister the country ever had'. Opposition leader claimed that he is ready to take on PM in a live debate on various issues like the practice followed in America.

Congress spokesperson Jayanti Natrajan reacted to the challenge saying BJP is 'obsessed' with everything US and said it was up to Manmohan Singh to respond to Advani's challenge.

Babri Masjid case: SC adjourns hearing

New Delhi, Jan 19: The Supreme Court has adjourned by six weeks hearing of the batch of petitions challenging the separation of trials of senior BJP and Sangh Parivar leaders for their alleged involvement in the Babri Masjid demolition case.&13; The petitioners are also seeking initiation of Contempt of Court proceedings against the leaders who include senior BJP leaders L K Advani and former Union Minister M M Joshi, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti, VHP leaders.....
