Maneka Gandhi also gets notice from EC

New Delhi, Mar 21: After Varun Gandhi's turn, it is now his mother, Maneka Gandhi's turn to get a notice from the Election Commission for using a Government building for campaigning. Sadar Sub-divisional Magistrate Santosh Kumar Sharma issued notices to Maneka, 52, who is BJP candidate from Aonla for violating model code of conduct by using the government building.

Three other leaders like Samajwadi Party candidate from Aonla Dharmendra Kashyap, BSP candidate from Badaun D P Yadav and a local BJP leader D K Bharadwaj have also been issued notice.

BJP releases chargesheet against UPA

New Delhi, May 22: Dubbing the UPA Government as a 'faceless, directionless and spineless' administration, the BJP said the three-year UPA rule at the Centre was a saga of compromises and failures endangering national sovereignty and security. Releasing a 66-page 'charge sheet' titled 'UPA's three-years Aam Aadmi's tear years', BJP President Rajnath Singh said the ''soft policy'' of the government towards terrorism had allowed trans-national terrorist networks to take roots in and around.....
