Bangalore says 'yes' to revised IPL schedule

Bangalore, Mar 19: Bangalore police has nodded 'yes' for the revised Indian Premier League (IPL) schedule. This brings a sigh of relief for IPL commissioner Lalit Modi. The home team Bangalore Royal Challengers' owner Vijay Mallya too backed the IPL season 2.

Vijay Mallya speaking over the IPL issues said, "Deadlock over the IPL dates will be sorted soon. The dates and security is being taken care of by the BCCI.

Whatever adjustments were needed have been made. I am confident that the IPL will pass off smoothly. We in India are competent enough to provide security and the environment cannot be compared to that of Pakistan."

Even, the Police Commissioner too assured full security for all the matches to be played in Bangalore.

May calls for inclusion of IPL in international calendar
