Canadians welcome Bush throwing shoes

Show hurled on George W Bush
Ottawa, Mar 18: After Iraqis now Canadians welcome former US President George W Bush by throwing shoes. In protest against Bush's Iraq policy about 200 people tossed shoes at an effigy of Bush, the 43rd US President outside a Calgary conference center where he was to deliver his first post-presidential speech.

Three were arrested by the Canadian police in connection with the incident. The protesters called Bush 'war criminal' and urged to prosecute him for his administration's policies in the 'war on terror'. George W Bush is scheduled to give atleast 10 speeches across Canada, Asia and Europe.

Nuke deal debate in RS on Dec 4

New Delhi, Dec 3: The Rajya Sabha will have a debate on the Indo-US Nuclear deal, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi said today. External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee would reply to the debate tomorrow itself, he told medipersons here. Asked if Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would intervene during the debate, Mr Dasmunsi said he could not say anything for sure.
