Islamabad, Mar 13: US drone attack in Pakistan's Kurram tribal region on Thursday, Mar 12 killed atleast 10 people. The US drone fired at least 4 missiles at a home in a village in Kurram Agency.
Though TV channels and locals claimed of seven persons being killed in the attack, no word was issued from the official side. Recently Kurram agency was in media for a major sectarian clashes between Shia and Sunni tribesmen that killed hundreds of people.
Despite Pakistan's protests that drone attacks can be counter-productive and violation of country's soverenigty, United States has not stopped drone attacks. After Barack Obama assumed US Presidency, there have been more than 6 drone attacks.
