Tati Silve (Jharkhand), Mar 13 (ANI): Property worth millions was destroyed in a massive fire that engulfed a tyre factory in Jharkhand.
No casualty has been reported in the fire that gutted the factory located at Tati Silve, about 10 kilometres from Ranchi.
"I do not know how the fire broke out as I was busy arranging the materials and the fire broke out on the rear side of the factory. When we failed to control the fire, we sprayed the fire extinguishing cylinders, but still did not succeed. There are no casualties. All the workers have been taken out. We have not been able to put out the fire completely. It must have damaged immensely, " said Bhushan Pratap, a worker who was the shift in-charge at the time of the mishap.
Five fire tenders brought the blaze under control after four hours on Thursday. (ANI)
