London, Mar 13 (ANI): A 9-year-old Brit boy has become the youngest pupil to get a grade A in A Level maths, after he scored the highest in the exams.
Zohaib Ahmed, who is in primary school and a big Liverpool fan, took his first exam at a sixth form college the day before his ninth birthday last January, and was very excited with the results.
"It was even better than beating Real Madrid," the Sun quoted him as saying.
Ahmed, who last August Zohaib scored an A-star grade in GCSE maths, scored 90 per cent across all six modules, and plans to take A Level further maths, and go to university when he is fourteen.
His 11-year-old brother Wajih also got an A in A Level further maths, and last summer at the age of 10, he got a top grade in his maths A Level.
Their father Dr Usman Ahmed, 43, spotted their potential when they were five, and he got their school to let them take in their own maths work.
"I was good at it and it rubbed off on them," he said.
Zohaib beat the record held by March Boedihardjo, who was nine and three months in 2007. (ANI)
