Bangalore, Mar 11: Tektronix Inc. received Intel Corporation"s Preferred Quality Suppliers (PQS) award recently for their contribution to Intel in 2008.
Tektronix supplies Intel with validation test equipment and other essentials. Tektronix received the award for the third consecutive year from Intel.
According to Jim Lico, president of Tektronix Inc, the award is a validation of Tektronix's continued commitment to Intel's success.
Tektronix solutions helps Intel product development team to market Intel's next generation products.
The Tektronix team demonstrates technical, manufacturing, management and field support excellence with their logic analyzer and oscilloscope products.
PQS award is given to encourage suppliers to strive for excellence and continuous improvement. To qualify for PQS status, suppliers must score 80 percent on a report card that assesses performance and ability to meet cost, quality, availability, delivery, technology and responsiveness goals.
Award winners will be honoured at functions which will be held in Tokyo, Japan and Santa Clara, California during the month of March 2009.
