Grenade attack injures paramilitary trooper in Srinagar

Srinagar, Mar. 11 (ANI): A grenade attack in Srinagar city injured a paramilitary trooper on Wednesday.

The grenade was reportedly hurled at a security picket by separatist guerrillas.

"Here, near the bridge area, we heard the sound of a grenade attack. My constable was injured in that and he has been taken to the hospital. This area is called 'Hanuman Chowk' and one person has been injured," said Satishwar Prasad, Sub Inspector, CRPF.

The grenade was thrown at the CRPF bunker when the security personnel were celebrating Holi. (ANI)

Bombs hurled at the residences of engineers

Imphal, Nov 01: Unidentified miscreants today hurled two bombs at the residences of two engineers in two separate incidents here. Police said the miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD) N G Rashtrapati's residence at Singjamei in Imphal. However, no one was injured in the incident, police added. In a seperate incident, a bomb was hurled at Additional Chief Engineer of the Irrigation and Flood Control department Md Aziz's residence at Keikhu in Imphal......
