Plane crash kills 3 IAF pilots in Bidadi

Bangalore, Mar 6: Reports suggest that 3 Indian Air Force (AIF) pilots died in an air crash in Bidadi near Bangalore of Karnataka on Friday, Mar 6. The NAL-built Saras aircraft crashed in an open area at Sheshagirihalli at around 1545 hrs IST and caught fire according to the police. Fire completely destroyed the aircraft. Later police recovered three charred bodies.

First 6 Indian Hawks report for duty

New Delhi, July 13: As the Indian Air Force (IAF) prepares to make its debut appearance at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) later this week, the first six Hawk Advanced Jet Trainers destined for it have achieved Interim Acceptance -- marking a significant milestone in the Indian Hawk programme.
