NRN's new avatar 'a comic book hero'

Bangalore, Mar 6: Chief Mentor of Infosys Technologies, one of the leading software exporter of India, NR Narayanamurthy is all set to take up a new role. Soon NRN will be seen as a super hero in a comic book. One of the most popular comic book Amar Chitra Katha will portray NRN's life story.

This is the first time Amar Chitra Katha is profiling living personalities. Narayanamurthy life story will be followed by stories of other Indian personalities like master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, former Indian President and Bharat Ratna winner APJ Abdul Kalam.

NRN founded Infosys in 1981 with 6 other software professional and served as its CEO for about 21 years.

Mumbai, Mar 14: The Sensex opened with sharp decline today by over 450 points in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange following a setback on the global bourses.All Sensex stocks opened in red with heavy losses, as there was panic selling across the board. At 9.57 am, Sensex was down 453 points at 12,529 and Nifty was down 134 points at 3636. Major gainers in the opening trade were Rel Comm, Reliance, Satyam, ACC, Guj Ambuja, Infosys.OneIndia.....

Biotechnology major Biocon forays into nephrology space

Bangalore, Mar 09: Biotechnology major Biocon on Thursday forayed into the nephrology space with the launch of a portfolio of five renal therapy products for the domestic and global markets, which it said was cheaper compared to MNC drug prices. The new immunosuppressants for renal therapy are at least 35-40 per cent cheaper than the MNC drug prices in the similar product category, the company's Marketing Head Rakesh Bamzai said.The Bangalore-headquartered company's Chairman and Managing Director, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw said.....
