Foreign hand not ruled out in Lahore attack: Rehman

Lahore, Mar. 6 (ANI): Pakistan Interior Ministry chief Rehman Malik on Friday said he could not rule out the foreign involvement in Lahore attack, which claimed eight lives.

According to The News, six Pakistani police and two civilians were killed on Tuesday when gunmen ambushed the team en route to a Test match in Lahore. Seven Sri Lankan cricketers and a coach were among 19 people wounded.

"I cannot rule out the involvement of a foreign hand in the incident," Rehman Malik told reporters here.

when asked about the involvement of Sri Lanka's militancy group Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) on the attack, Rehman said that the investigators have not found any leads suggesting the involvement of any religious elements.

The Minister refused to divulge information about how the probe was progressing. (ANI)

CBSE exams for class X

New Delhi, Feb 28:  The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the twelfth and tenth standard examinations from tomorrow, for which more than 12.07 lakh pupils will appear across the country.For the twelfth standard examination, which will be held from March 1 to April 10, about 5,02,688 students, including 2,11,582 girls, will appear.The number has registered an increase of 9.59 per cent compared to last year, when 4,54,480 candidates wrote the examination......
