Recession bites Lady Gaga

Washington, February 21 (ANI): Lady Gaga has also fallen prey to the global recession for the singer has been compelled to "adjust" her stage antics in the U.K after being unable to meet the expenses for equipment transfer from the U.S.

The 'Just Dance' hitmaker has been hitting the roads supporting the Pussycat Dolls on their World Domination tour.

The 22-year-old confessed that the economic slump had prevented her from fetching all her stage props with her.

"I adore being in the U.K. but the shows that I've done so far, with Pussycat Dolls and on my own, are nothing to what you will see from me," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"The dollar is so bad I haven't been able to take over all my equipment and do a full set - but I will," she added. (ANI)

Church of England writes new prayer to comfort those sacked amidst recession
