Railways introduces superfast train from Delhi to Udaipur

New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Railways have introduced a new superfast train, Sarai Rohilla Superfast Experss, from New Delhi to Udaipur.

The train will run three days a week from both sides starting from the end of next month.

It will leave Delhi on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and will reach at its destination the next day.

Another weekly train from Gujarat's Gandhidham to Kamakhya in Assam will also be launched on February 28. The train will take four days to cover the journey. (ANI)

New Delhi, Dec 13: The CPI(M) today asked the countrymen to avoid travel on railways and other public transport tomorrow in view of its All-India General Strike to press for acceptance of the Left's 16-point charter of demands, including legislation to provide social security for the country's 370 million unorganised workers. Besides the four Left parties, other non-BJP, non-Congress parties including the SP, RJD, TDP, DMK and BSP will also support the strike, CPI(M)'s Lok.....

New Delhi, July 8: Hill Railways have completed a century of operations. In this context, Northern Railways are very keen that the Kalka Shimla railway should be put up for UNESCO recognition. The hill railways have unique features and when they were initially laid, their conception, design and construction were feats of engineering marvels, a character which they still retain.
