NASA postpones launch of 'Discovery'

Cape Canaveral, US, Feb 21: NASA has delayed the launch of space shuttle, 'Discovery' amid valve concerns, for no sooner than Friday, Feb 27. This is the fourth time the launch has been delayed. After a meeting on Friday, Feb 20 at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, shuttle managers decided against launching in a week.

NASA had earlier scheduled to launch 'Discovery' on Thursday, Feb 12, but extra tests were oredered to test the valves. The valves control the flow of hydrogen gas into the external fuel tank during liftoff. One of those valves broke during the last shuttle launch in Nov.
