Pak in 'denial mode' on Masood Azhar: India
New Delhi, Feb 21: External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee has ridiculed Pakistan for denying the presence of Jaish-e-Mohammad Chief Masood Azhar in that country.

Reacting to Interior Advisor Rehman Malik's claim that Azhar was not present in the Pakistan, Mukherjee said: "India had several times got different information from the Pakistani sources on Masood Azhar."

Mukherjee said it was not unusual to hear such denials from Pakistani officials. Azhar served time in an Indian jail, but was released by the Indian Government in 2000 in exchange for airline passengers who had been taken hostage by some Kashmiri militants.

Soon after his release, he launched the Jaish-e-Mohammad.
