Rooney hails Scholes as the world's master class passer

London, Feb.20 (ANI): England and Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney hailed Paul Scholes as the best passer in the world, even at age 34!

Scholes shone in Manchester United's 3-0 win over Fulham on Wednesday, hitting a volleyed opener and dictating the game with his range of passing.

The Sun quoted Rooney as saying: "Paul is amazing. Some of his football I don't think any other footballer in the world could produce. His passing was a joy to watch."

Rooney, who scored with his first touch as a sub, said: "We played some brilliant football and fully deserved the three points." (ANI)
