Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 20: Giving embarrassment to Catholic Church in Kerala, a nun released her autobiography revealing what is happening behind the closed doors of convents. Amen, an autobiography written by former nun Dr Sister Jesme claims that harassment and sexual repression take place in convents.

Sr Jesme, former principal of St Mary's College in Thrissur alleged of harrassment from superiors and she quit the congregation last Aug, but the church has termed her mentally sick. Former nun said that she want the society to know what is happening to the nuns, and what she suffered there.

This autobiography comes after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested two priests and one nun in sensational Sr Abhaya case

Good and bad is everywhere and in the every religion.so v should take only the good things.We should comment idotically if guru\priest\malvi of other religions does the mistake.Ath the same time we should not blindly support our religion peoples who r doing the mistakes.So according to me either hindu\muslim\christian whoever may be v should believe only in god.I don't want to support them.My point is v should not go behind them itself. We r indian first then only our religious identity comes...

Sr. Jesme was not accidently joined the congregation, i dont know many people know that, befor becoming a nun each aspirant gets enough opportunity to rethink, and even after becoming a nun one has freedom to quit the service without any restriction. Sr. Jesme's allegations many of them are just allegations as usual, where can she find a life without hardships...its very common in our life, i mean married life, to wash toilets, wash cloths...and i couldnt see anyone complaining of that, rthats...
