50 Cent considering retirement

Washington, Feb 20 (ANI): American rapper 50 Cent has said that his next studio album could be his last.

The 'In Da Club' hitmaker has a fourth album and a hits compilation left on his label contract and he's considering retirement for music business after that.

"It (next album) could very well be my last studio album if it doesn't make sense for me to continue and actually do it," Contactmusic quoted him, as telling King magazine.

However, the one thing that might prompt him to forge on is the fact all his rap peers are getting old and comfortable.

"I believe that I will have a stronger position as we move forward. What I have on my side is age. In the next five years, they'll (top rappers) be 45 and 44 years old and I'll just be close to where they are now," he said.

The rapper also said that he doesn't expect Jay-Z to be the king of rap for much longer.

"He's married, he's getting ready to be 40. He's in a different place, he might not even want to run around, and even touring might be out of the question," he said. (ANI)
