Taliban kills Geo TV reporter in Swat Valley

Moosa Khan Khel - Pakistan Geo TV Reporter killed by Taliban
Islamabad, Feb 19: To protest the killing of Geo TV reporter Moosa Khan Khel, Pak journalists have called off a nation-wide protest on Thursday, Feb 19. Moosa was murdered just two days after Pakistan government and Taliban signed a so-called peace deal in Swat valley.Geo TV reporter was killed while he was reporting the controversial peace deal. Pakistan government immediately condemned that attack as said it is an attack on the 'freedom of press'. He was brutally murdered by unknown people while reporting the mass vehicle rally under the leadership of Maulana Sufi Mohammed, who is on a peace mission in Swat, from Minagora to Matta. The murderers executed him after kidnapping him from Matta. Geo TV reports that there were 32 bullets in Moosa's body.

Moosa Khan Khel is the second journalist killed in swat valley in last 3 months. After attack on girls' education Taliban, which is gaining strength in Pakistan is now trying to curb the free press.

FBI in Faridkot to probe about Kasav

Islamabad, Jan 1: Reports suggest that a team of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials visited Faridkot in Pakistan's Punjab province. The FBI Officials visited the village on Wednesday, Dec 31 late night to probe about Azam Amir Kasav aka Ajmal Amir Iman, the only terrorist caught alive after Mumbai terror attacks.
