London, Feb. 19 (ANI): British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has said both UK and USA are working on a joint strategy to deal with the issue of terrorism along the Pak-Afghanistan border.

"Our strategy is to complement military action in Afghanistan with policies to improve governance and train the Afghan army and police," the Daily Times quoted Brown, as saying.

He also said that militants continue to cross over from Pakistan to fight the NATO forces, and hence, they have to deal with the problem of terrorism in Pakistan as well.

The PM further said the ultimate aim would be to introducing democracy is Afghanistan, while rebuilding its army and police so that the national security is handed over to them. (ANI)
