London, Feb 09 (ANI): Peaches Geldof's 'intimate friendship' with another rock star is the reason behind her break-up with her musician hubby Max Drummey, according to pals.
They say that Sir Bob's daughter, who has announced that she is divorcing Drummey, is 'besotted' with The Virgins frontman Donald Cumming.
Peaches was spotted with 26-year-old Cumming dozens of times - while her Drummey talked of his love for her and desperately tried to save their fragile marriage. "Peaches has been seeing Donald for weeks. She really likes him," the Sun quoted a pal, as saying.
"She couldn't care less about Max. As far as she is concerned she just married him for a laugh and he needs to move on now that she has got bored of him.
"Her dad is relieved she has ended the relationship, which he never believed was ever based on more than alcohol and teen irresponsibility," the pal added.
The couple announced their split in a joint statement through an agent.
