Forged documents found in Raju's brother's house

Hyderabad, Jan 22: Searches at the office and residence of Suryanarayana Raju, brother of Satyam's Ramalinga Raju (Former CEO of disgraced Satyam Computers) by Andhra Pradesh Police on Wednesday, Jan 21.

"The searches at the residence and office of Suryanarayana Raju were conducted since last night and it continued the whole day today," a senior police official said on Wednesday, Jan 21.

Suryanarayana Raju was not available for questioning, he said. "We have seized a large number of documents pertaining to land records and other documents. Some documents included forged ones. They are being verified," he added.

"We are questioning senior officials and employees of SRSR Advisory Services, the consultancy firm in which Suryanarayana Raju is the director," he said.

When asked about reports of Raju's revelation of forging of salary accounts of 6,000 employees, the Police said that details of the interrogation cannot be revealed at this stage.
