Today is the most depressing day of the year

London, Jan 19 (ANI): Feeling blue? Take heart, for you're not the only one feeling so. According to experts, today is officially the most depressing day of the year.

Cold weather, fading Christmas memories and broken New Year resolutions mean this period is usually miserable, but the effects of the economic downturn makes this year worse than ever, reports the Sun.

Monday is regarded as the worst day of the week with many dreading the prospect of returning to work.

Psychologist Dr Cliff Arnall is the on who worked out the misery of 'Blue Monday'.

Using factors such as debt, the number of days since Christmas and the weather, he calculated the most miserable day of the year is today. (ANI)

Brits emit more carbon in a week than one from poor country would all year
