Pakistan to reply to India's dossier in ten days: Malik

Islamabad, Jan.18 (ANI): Pakistan's reply to the Indian 'dossier' of evidence will be ready in 10 days, as the preliminary part of the probe is nearly complete, the Country's Interior Adviser Rehman Malik has said.

Malik said the authorities have directed the Investigation Commission to establish the verifiable credentials of the suspects allegedly involved in the Mumbai attacks and inquire into the available information supplied by India.

He denied any international pressure on Pakistan to speed-up its investigations.

"It took 42 days for India to provide information to Pakistan, and it will take some time (for Pakistan) to investigate the matter. They should give more time to us," The Daily Times quoted Malik, as saying.

Without disclosing details about the report being prepared by Pakistan, Malik hinted that the investigation agencies have established foreign links in the Mumbai attack.

"Leads found in Pakistani investigation into the Mumbai terrorist attacks indicate involvement of foreigners," he said, adding, "So far the leads shared with me by the investigators, they go out of the country," he said.

Malik also said that no criminal case was being lodged on the basis of the information yielded by the investigations so far.

"We are not registering a criminal case right now. Let the preliminary report come and if prima facie something substantial comes, we would convert it into a criminal case," he said. (ANI)
