Melbourne, Jan 18 (ANI): Aussies will be keeping a close look at Michelle Obama's eyes on her husband's inauguration day, for word has leaked that the incoming US First Lady will wear a Sydney make-up brand's eye shadow as part of her daytime look.
According to reports, Mrs Obama will be wearing ModelCo's Seychelles, a golden-toned eye shadow, which can be picked up for 28 dollars in Australia.
Shelley Barrett, founder of the beauty brand said that she was ecstatic to hear that Ingrid Grimes-Miles, Michelle Obama's make-up artist of six years, had chosen her brand for the big day.
"I thought we would be one of thousands being considered," News.com.au quoted Barrett as saying.
She said it was a major victory for their brand to be chosen over some of the biggest cosmetic brands in the world for the inauguration
Her boutique beauty brand had hit the US market just three years ago.
"It's a historic occasion and she is really representative of a modern woman. She's a mother, her husband's right hand and a true power force," said Barrett. (ANI)
