Zardari to attend Obama's oath-taking ceremony

Islamabad, Jan.13 (ANI): Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the US President Barack Obama in Washington DC on January 20.

"President Zardari would leave for Washington on January 19 to attend the event," the Daily Times quoted a Pak official as saying.

Zardari is expected to meet Obama and discuss Pakistan's role in the 'war-on-terror', and other regional issues.

The flaring tension between India and Pakistan is also likely to feature in the Obama-Zardari talks. (ANI)
