Evidences received from India were being investigated: Pak PM

Islamabad, Jan 11 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that Pakistan didn't want tension in the region, adding that the evidences received from India were being investigated.

He further said that no Pakistani would be handed over to another country.

Talking to the media on the sidelines of the inauguration of Sangi Cadet College in district Sukkur, Gilani advised Indian politicians to mend their ways, as their statements were stoking tension.

He said that Pakistan itself was taking actions against the terrorists and terrorist organizations and this would continue, The News reported.

Gilani said that Pakistan didn't want tension in the region, but in any critical situation the Armed Forces of Pakistan, the leaderships of the country and above all the people and all our cadets were with us.

Responding to a question, Gilani said that Pakistan People's Party and Q-League were not on the loop, "We are allied with Muslim League-N in Punjab government, they are our ally, but their party manifesto and our party manifesto were different, we do not want any interference in the party matters," he said.

Earlier, addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Cadet College, he said that we have the capability of defending the country and none could cast an evil eye. (ANI)
