Pak must handover 26/11 attackers: PM

Shillong, Jan 3: Pressurising Pakistan to handover the 26/11 attackers, Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh reiterated that the accused have to be tried in India and not in Pakistan.

To a question on how India intends pressurise Paksitan, he said, "We shall go to any extent to root out terror."

"War is not solution to solving problems between India and Pakistan. We hope better sense prevails over Pakistan; and we hope the criminals will be handed over for trial in India," he added.

Prime Minister also said, "Infiltration from Bangldesh into north east is a matter of concern."

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's is on a visit to Shillong to inaugurate the 96th session of the Indian Science Congre, were he made the statement.

Musharraf rules out US strikes in Pakistan
