Pak minister says no differences between Zardari and Gilani

Karachi, Dec.31 (ANI): Pakistan's Information and Broadcasting Minister Sherry Rehman has rejected rumours of differences existing between President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Rehman said such news is being falsely circulated by certain mischievous elements.

"There are absolutely no differences," The Daily Times quoted Sherry Rehman,as saying.

She added that the President and the Prime Minister were working seamlessly together. ending her full support to the present government, Rehman said: "The prevailing situation when there is tension on the borders, the hands of the government should be strengthened."

Rehman added that it was very important for Pakistan and India to work together to combat terrorism, a major threat to countries.

"Pakistan and India would have to make the region a place of peace and also rid the country of terrorism," she said.

Rehman however, criticised the Indian media for behaving irresponsibly in the wake of the Mumbai terror attack. (ANI)
