Economic blockade lifted in Manipur

Imphal, Nov 25: Normality returned on NH 39 here after economic blockade was lifted on Monday, Nov 24.

Large numbers of trucks left the city on Tuesday, Nov 25

People were facing tremendous hardship due to frequent imposition of blockade on the highway.

This time blockade was imposed by Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) to demand repair of the highway.

Due to blockade prices of essential commodities had sky rocketed.
