CSM Software partners with ACTANO

Bangalore, Oct 15: CSM Software, a leading provider of advanced engineering software and services to global aerospace, on Wednesday, Oct 15 announced its partnership with ACTANO Group, a specialist in software solutions and consulting services, to provide Collaborative Project Management Tool for Indian Aerospace and Automotive Industry Under the agreement, CSM would sell and support ACTANO's efficient collaborative project management tool 'RPlan' to the Indian markets, according to a release here.

The partnership focuses on marketing RPlan in the Indian sub-continent and cooperation in consulting projects, targeted to optimize product development of India's globally aspiring OEMs and suppliers in Automotive, Aerospace and General Manufacturing, as well as Pharma and IT/Telecom industries.

Commenting on the agreement, Mr V S Mahadevan, COO, Product Division, CSM Software, said ''with the experience of many worldwide implementations, RPlan is targeted to support our customers over a wide range of engineering tasks. With this cooperation, CSM is able to complete its software and services offering and expand its position as the top notch solutions provider in India.'' ACTANO CEO Dr Rupert Stuffer said ''entering the Indian market is the next logical step in our internationalization strategy, as the demand for the most innovative, yet industry-proven solutions for optimized product development are imminent in India,'' the release added.

CSM Software, BEML ink MoU during Aero show

Bangalore, Mar 4: CSM Software Pvt Ltd and BEML Limited announced the signing of a strategic MoU during the Aero India show 2009.The objective of this MoU is to a establish a framework for the execution of the engineering services orders likely to be received by BEML through CSM's sales and marketing efforts, under the defence offset clause, and to ensure total customer satisfaction.The Indian offset policy states that, for any Indian defense contract worth Rs 3000 million.....
