Bangalore, Oct 13: On Monday, Oct 13 CSM Software which provides advanced engineering software and services to global aerospace, automotive and heavy engineering industries, announced the reorganization of its top management to target aggressive growth in line with the major growth expected in the engineering services and product design markets.
V S Mahadevan, earlier Vice President, Products Division is promoted to the newly created post of Chief Operations Officer (COO) for the Products Division and will now lead the division's growth as an independent profit centre. CSM's Products Division, that has continued to expand its revenue growth by adding newer customers and providing excellent technical support will now additionally look at being a complete solution provider by bringing in new products to the Indian market and providing high end consultative solutions.
Shashidhar Sharma, earlier Vice President, sales, of the Engineering Services Division (ESD) is promoted to the newly created post of Chief Operations Officer (COO), ESD. In this new role, Shashidhar Sharma will look to build on the high growth rates that CSM has been showing the last several years and look to substantially grow some of the key customer relationships in US as well as in Europe.
In their new roles, both Mahadevan and Sharma will be responsible for driving their respective Divisions to greater heights, enhance the top and bottom lines for the unit as well as for the profitability of their respective units.
This restructuring will enormously improve operational efficiencies across these units and will support the Company's vision of technology leadership in its market. Both Mahadevan and Shashidhar Sharma will continue to report to Mr Satya Srikanth, CEO, CSM Software, who will now additionally take charge of new initiatives in energy, government and other verticals.
A K Balasubramanian, earlier Vice President, Delivery ESD, is promoted as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of CSM. He will work with Satya Srikanth, on the new initiatives and will take care of all technology aspects across the company.
N K Sherman, VP, Finance Dept, is promoted as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of CSM. He will, apart from his regular financial role, also support Mr Satya Srikanth in Corporate Strategy.
Additionally, Bharath Mani, earlier VP and Head of US operations in CSM USA, is now Global Head of Sales for Services. In this new capacity, Bharath will report to Shashidhar Sharma and will be in-charge of sales all over the world.
The 'functional integration' of staff in CSM USA with the operations of CSM India will allow the company to meet the needs of its world-wide customers in an optimal fashion.
