Delhi blasts: LeT condemns blasts, denies links

Srinagar, Sep 15: Strongly condemning the Delhi serial blasts that left around 25 people dead and scores wounded, the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has denied its links with the Indian Mujahideen (IM) and the blasts. A spokesperson of the LeT told local mediapersons that they condemned the blasts at Delhi in which innocent lives were lost on Saturday, Sep 13 evening.

He claimed the LeT has no links with IM, allegedly involved in these blasts. He said the LeT has been saying time and again that it was totally against such acts in which innocent, irrespective of their religion or region, are being killed.

He alleged the government lost no time in trying to implicate the LeT in every incident that happens in different cities. This, he said, was to defame their organisation which is fighting against 'Indian occupation' in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said killing an innocent person was like killing entire humanity in Islam. We are against such killings, he said.

Both the factions of the Hurriyat Conference, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) and other separatist, mainstream and social organisations have also condemned the Delhi blasts.
