Stating this, Haryana Wakf Board Administrator and Commissioner (Ambala Division) Mohinder Kumar today said assistance from deputy commissioners would be sought to complete the survey through their field staff.
He said there were nearly 12,000 disputed units which were either under unauthorised possession or were in the courts.
He said a survey of widows was also being undertaken to provide them economic assistance.
Besides, there was a proposal to run coaching centers for the benefit of young boys and girls to prepare for competitive examinations.
Mr Kumar said his priorities in the Waqf Board would be to work in the field of education and health for the benefit of minority community.
He said that the Board had a proposal to set up more sewing centers for girls, health centers, free charitable dispensaries and to organise health camps for creating health awareness among the minority community.
