An official spokesman said Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would give the cash awards to the seven Olympians and one Coach at this function.
Haryana Minister of State for Sports Kiran Choudhry would preside over the function.
He said Bindra, who got the first individual Olympic gold medal for the country, would be honoured with a cash award of Rs 25 lakh.
Bhiwani Boxer, Vijender Singh, who won the first Olympic medal, a bronze, for the country in the 75 kg-Middleweight Boxing event would be given Rs 50 lakh under the policy announced for Haryanvi Olympians.
Two other boxers from the state Akhil Kumar and Jitender Kumar, who reached the quarter finals, would be given Rs 25 lakh each.
Hooda said Delhi wrestler, Sushil Kumar, who also won a bronze medal at the Beijing olympics in wrestling event, would be given Rs 25 lakh.
The spokesman said that two other Olympians Saina Nehwal and Yogeshwar Dutt, who reached the quarter finals of the badminton and wrestling events respectively, would get Rs 25 lakh each.
He said Boxing Coach of Bhiwani Jagdish Singh would also be honoured on this occasion by the Chief Minister, with a cash award of Rs 25 lakh for promoting boxing.
