Haryana offers land for American Technology Park

Chandigarh, Aug 26 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today offered to allot 300 acres of land to US India Business Alliance (USIBA) for setting up an American Technology Park in Haryana.

The offer was made when a three-member USIBA delegation, led by its president Sanjay Puri, met the Chief Minister in connection with the allotment of land for the Technology Park.

Proposing various sites for setting up the Technology Park, Mr Hooda said Madina village in Rohtak District and area adjoining to IMT Rohtak were the ideal places for the project. IMT Rohtak had the fast access to New Delhi through National Highway No 10 and KMP express way and it was an established education centre of Haryana, he added.

Mr Hooda Said Kharkhoda in Sonepat District could also be considered for this purpose.

The proposed areas were pollution free and had a drive distance of hardly one hour from the national capital. Prices of land were also much lower in these areas as compared to Gurgaon and Faridabad.

Land could also be allotted at proposed IMT Faridabad to USIBA for the proposed project, he added.

Central Tax Pool are not distributed properly: N K Singh

NEEPCO threatens legal action against Meghalaya govt
