Some white S. Africans don't want 2010 Soccer World Cup to succeed



Beijing, Aug.22 : A few white South Africans would like to see the 2010 Soccer World Cup flop.

The News24 website quoted Essop Pahad, a Minister in the Presidency and a member of the country's 2010 Local Organising Committee, as saying that "There are still many white people in South Africa who do not support Bafana Bafana. They also do not really care that the Soccer World Cup will take place in South Africa."

He, however, conceded that the majority of whites support the democratic processes in South Africa.
