Shiv Sena president Vijay Tiwari resigns

Lucknow, Aug 22: Shiv Sena unit president Vijay Tiwari has resigned from his post and party's primary membership.

In a letter to Shiv Sena acting chief Udhav Thackeray, Mr Tiwari expressed his desire to quit the post.

The reason behind his resignation was, however, not stated in the letter.
