Three get life imprisonment in murder case

Patna, Aug 22 (UNI) A local court today handed down life imprisonment to three accused in two separate murder cases.

Fast track court judge Omprakash awarded life imprisonment to Keshra Singh and Sanjay Singh after finding them guilty of killing their relative Siddhanath Singh on January 6, 1993, under Ranitalab police station of the state capital following property dispute.

Additional district and sessions judge Radheshyam Prasad awarded life term to accused Anil Chowdhury for killing Santosh Kumar Singh, a nagar panchayat ward councillar .

The accused had shot dead Singh on May 21, 2002, under Phoolwari Shariff police station of the state capital following political rivalry.

Over 35,000 pirated books, including bestsellers, seized in Capital
