Mumbai, Aug 22 (UNI) Prices of RBD Palmolein recovered today, while groundnutseed and its oil remained flat on moderate demand, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.
In oils (10 kgs), Refined palmolein recovered by Rs 8 per 10 kg on brisk buying support by stockists.
Sesame expeller and cottonseed (refined) also shot up by Rs 10 and Rs 7 per 10 kg respectively, on speculative demand by stockists. However, Groundnut oil remaind steady, traders said.
Among seeds (per quintal), seasameseed declined by Rs 100 per quintal on sustained heavy selling pressure by bulk consumers while both, castorseed Bombay and Disa rose by Rs 15 and Rs 5 per quintal respectively on good demand by local dealers.
However, groundnutseed remained unchanged today.
In De-oiled cakes, rapeseed and soyameal soared by Rs 200 per meric tonne amid better buying support by stockists, traders added.
