Prachanda to meet Hu Jintao

Kathmandu, Aug 22 : Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias 'Prachanda' will meet Chinese President Hu Jintao during his visit to Beijing.

Prachanda is scheduled to leave for Beijing on Saturday to attend the Olympics closing ceremony.

He will also meet Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. He will attend a luncheon hosted by Jiabao in honor of visiting heads of State and Government.

Prachanda will lead a eleven-member delegation, that includes his wife Sita Dahal, Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara and government officials, nepalnews said.

New Delhi, Mar 11: The world's largest armoured vehicle manufacturing unit is to be set up in India by this mid-year under a 51:49 joint venture between the British armoured vehicle maker Armet and the country's Indian technical textile producer Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn.The facility -- to come up at Malwan, near Kanpur -- is expected to be operational by July later this year with an initial roll-out capacity of 300 luxury armoured vehicles for VIPs per annum.The unit would be later.....
